Lucid Dream is a look inside my creative mind and brain. This piece is a reflection of what a safe space looks like for Women of Color. A sanctuary we deserve.

Lucid Dream was my first commissioned mural, I had the freedom to create anything I wanted with the beautiful space I was given. I wanted to use the architecture of the space as a storytelling foudation for my work. Each individual panel has a story but also works as a collective and communicate together, which I believe is my manifestation of the world I want to live in.

There are not many women of color portrayed in murals around Portland, I wanted this to become a safe space for us but also to feel represented in art we arent used to seeing. We deserve to be seen and heard through street art and this mural was the beginning of that journey.
